Meet
Our Director

Balvinder Kaliray is a highly experienced Consultant Chartered Physiotherapist and the Director of Ankerside Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinics. With over 40 years of experience in the field, Mrs Kaliray's career began with a decade in the NHS, where she successfully managed an outpatient department and collaborated closely with orthopaedic consultants. During this period, she also played a key role in establishing a pain clinic alongside an anaesthetist, which significantly broadened her expertise in chronic pain management.

For the past 30-plus years, Balvinder Kaliray has dedicated her practice to the private sector. Her Nuneaton clinic was founded in 1984, driven by the strong demand from local orthopaedic consultants and general practitioners. The clinic also provided essential physiotherapy services, including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, for the Nuneaton private hospital.

Clinically, Mrs Kaliray has pursued extensive professional development, completing numerous specialty courses. Her qualifications include an advanced certificate in acupuncture, as well as various orthopaedic medicine, McKenzie, and manual therapy manipulation courses. She consistently attends the annual Physio First conferences, which feature internationally renowned specialists, ensuring she remains current with the latest advancements in patient treatments.

Balvinder Kaliray's practice is deeply committed to continuous professional development, providing in-house lectures to GPs on physiotherapy-related services. The practice has experienced significant growth over the years, a testament to its strong reputation and the ongoing demand for its expertise.
